Your rays are amazing, no doubt about that, but those eels are INSANE! I just falled in love with another type of fish i cant get my hands on, thanks alot for that :) Very nice system, a little messy as you said before, but its impossible to keep it clean.. Ive tryd it several times in my aquahouse, but there is always another operation waiting to be done, and the mess is all back :) Keep it going! VERY nice rays!! And heck of alot of em too :)

Mess should be gone this weekend. I'll do an update on ALL the rays, instead of just the 2 little tanks this weekend...... :naughty:
 
Puffer madness. My favorite was seeing the puffer. Maybe someday I'll get one.

I blame the stupid Odoe for that thing..... LOL Once they figure out the rays WILL attack them if they hang out with them on the bottom then I'll be able to loose it, but for right now it's going a pretty good job of detering the rays from hanging out in the Odoe/puffer safe haven.....

Pretty decent sized claspers for a ray that's not even 8" yet. I just hope he learns how to use them in the future.
 
What do you guys think space wise????

Does this tank look big enough for the 6 of them????
 
You know I have the same question about my tank. As mine all get twice the size they are now it will be interesting. But then I know of people that kept 6 in a 300 wide and they were breeding also. I'm at 8 rays right now and it's a little crazy I don't plan to keep all of them but would like to have a good amount in the tank.

I'm not too worried about most of them getting any bigger. The 2 males are unrolled, and the biggest female in there was aquired at 6" almost 5 years ago. The big dotted girl is the only one I think may reach average Marble size. IF she does she'll go in the big tank with the big Marbles, as there's only 7 rays in that 10x4 footprint and the largest ray in there might be 1.5' across.

This tank is 8x2 and when they all pile together at feeding time they might take up 4ft2 of the 16ft2 footprint.

Lil buggers probably average 8" across. I think this tank would have a hard time putting away 3/4 a lb of food. My old big girl could almost do that herself.
