amazing, love the quality of your fish they look so healthy. favs are dovii, red mota, bifa, hoga, sheesh all of them are nice! what would you say is your secret for growth and health for us beginners?

Thank you. The only thing I can say is a nice variety in their diet, clean water, and I start them when they are young. I rarely buy a fish that I want as part of my community tanks, as an adult. (mainly because I am not sure how they were raised, or what they were raised on or with what) I usually grow them from youngins, raise them in a community, and then graduate the keepers into the larger tanks.

madness your fish are some of the healthiest highest quality of any out there keep up the great work. i need to get a couple more tanks so i can make a trip up there and pick up some fish from you im sure you missed some so make sure you get some more pics of all those beauties. Pacific NW Cichlid Power!!!!!

Thanks, I need to find him a colorful female, preferably one with the big lips also. The barred one in the 3rd to last pic is 1 of my 2 male Hogaboomorum. The Dovii is definitely my fav, along with the Hoga's.


Thanks she is a beaut. She is pushing 11" now, and is so peaceful. The perfect community fish. Been trying to find a male, any ideas?
