Awesome RTMs! How large were they when you got them? How long have you had them? Thanks for sharing I hope you give us an update on your dovii soon.

A group of WC's were purchased by a LFS. The guy running the Cichlid department and the guy that ordered them, hand picked the nicest male and female, and put them in the show tank up stairs. A couple months later they spawned, and the 2 females I have are from that pair. ( they sold that pair for $300 a couple months later)
I bought these 2 at about 1". (actually bought 5, but lost 3) Up until they were about 5 & 6" I thought that they were males because of how quick they grew, how thick they were and they both had the spotting. But as they continued to grow, the spotting disappeared. The male in the vid is the offspring from another pair that was purchased from the same group of WC's.
These two females are great tank mates, and yes, the large female runs the tank.
They have never spawned. They a barely a year old, purchased them Nov 2010. ( if I am remembering correctly)
I have several people want to buy one of the females, but until one of them hooks up with the male, Im not selling.
Maybe today I will do an update vid on my Dovii. Not going anywhere with 10" of snow on the ground and 8" more on its way.
