Just from reviewing the hardware and seeing the actual "kill-a-watt" displays, I think I found my next pump when I need that style of pump...thanks for the heads up...
Is the savings on the electric going to over come the spendy price tag? What is the break even point and is that measured in years?

Pumps running 24/7/365 need to be taken apart and cleaned every three years IMO. Most likely replacement of some parts, impellers, ceramic this and that, just to keep the flow up to normal capacity. If I'm not breaking even by the three year mark it's just not worth it to me. Just an opinion though I'm sure it's a very nice pump
