magical bubbles whats the deal

I personally hate bubbles, and cant stand the noise. I always use surface agitation no problems even when heating the tank to 86 and adding salt. What I look for is no smooth spot on the surface, If I can see mini waves all over the place then I AM DOIN IT RIGHT. The only tank I have bubbles in is my mini 10g grow out tank, simply because I don't have a power head for it.
