Anyone know what this dark spot is on his throat? Almost looks like he just rubbed on an algae covered rock. Also just noticed today he has an extremely thin white string coming from his anüs, looks like a dog hair, u can sort of see it in the 1st pic in front of the anal fin. Any ideas?

I know that I've just never seen it so thin. Also it's not poop, he pooped completely normal just before I noticed the white string deal. Thanks

To me it is very thin i don't think it is a parasite..... Is he still eating?

Lol yea he's eating fine. I just have a hard time believing a dog hair gave him JTT but idk that's honestly what it looked like, it's gone now
