How many different species are in that group? Though they all look similar I thought I saw a few that looked a little different.

Nice,do they need to be kept in a group or would a single specimen be fine.

They would do better in groups, else they would be skittish, and can cause some serious harm to themselves or to others in the tank, I have never seen em in the tank alone.

They behave very much like dorados, but bigger appetites than the Dorado, and are much more tame than the Dorado, and more aggressive feeders too.

Thanks. I was wondering why my loner is skittish.

Lovely vid. Typical pig behavior.

As they grow, their appetite is only gonna grow and it will be an exponential growth.

Their behavior is much domineering when in groups, they will even attack other fish, by ramming into them at high speeds, and if the victim runs, the attack will only be more vicious.

Now there are many blue mahseer, in India there is the tor khudree and the tor malabaricus both get some nice blues.

Then there is the blue mahseer from Thai, tor douronensis and the Neolissochilus stracheyi, both get some lovely blues, also the tor tambroides which is brownish in India and red in Malaysia is blue in Thailand.
