Black edgings on caudal fin and eye size point me in the direction of Neolissichilus hexagonalepis, the copper masher. You'll find out for certain as it fills out, all the coppers I've had are greedy, fat pigs.

I agree. The last pic kinda show black on the upper and lower edges of the tail.

Khudree has dark blue finnage and "high" back; the back is easy to spot in specimens larger than 6" or so, but difficult in smaller ones. It isn't unusual for copper masheers to be sold as something else. It has happened a few times when I dealt with vendors not named Wes. : )

Those two solid lines on the edges of the caudal fin are distinct to N. hexagonalepis, though (in my experience). Hexagonalepis also get far more round when looking head on, because they are gluttons and eat everything with their big rapacious mouths!
