Mail Order Monkey

It's one thing to sit and await the arrival of a box or two of fish you've ordered but just imagine a real live primate being dropped off by the mailman or UPS guy.

Back in the late 60's up to mid to late 70's, they used to sell squirrel monkeys in the local Woolco store, along with exotic birds & other critters. I wonder what date that ad is from?

That's crazy but they guaranteed live delivery.

I wanted a monkey for a pet but after cleaning up after them in a pet department year's ago no thanks lol.

Yeah and they offered an awful lot of accessories along with the monkey for that low low price lol!

I wanted a pet monkey so bad when i was a kid too. Then in college i got a dog and realized how much more work a monkey would be...
