maintinence-free filtration

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
he said most people dont know about it because
then there wont be any use for replaceable filters and such
and thats how they make their money( no need for fish stores
any more, but for fish and food)

I would think that lack of replacement filters would have a very little affect on fish stores. People that use sump style filtration don't use standard filters. Plus fish stores sell more than just filters, fish, and food. They sell tanks, plants, lighting, and rocks and all sorts of stuff.

hey may just have water exchange with some going to overflow, really simple if you have a drain nearby. then there is the possibility of timed solenoid valves that open to drain release while a float valve allows the water to top up after that. its certainly not rocket science.

I know were not supposed to jump to conclusions but hes trying to sell tanks. Im not saying hes lying but theres probably more to what he is saying.. I know everyone here has had a person tell them false info to sell somethings.. like id sharks dont get bigger than 6 inch...

Ask the guy to show you how it works?
