I have been having this algae problem a few weeks now and I can't get rid of it. It has me to the point of wanting to get out of the hobby.
No matter how much I scrub the plants , glass or vacum the gravel and doing water changes makes no difference.
I have a uv sterilzer and even used korodon amquel algae killer.

Check out the photos of this stuff.

What can I do ?

I have this in my planted tank and can't shake it either. My water parameters are ideal so not sure what is causing it... It's kind o slimy so none of my algae eaters will touch it. Would be interested on any advice also.

have you tryed bristlenose as algae eaters?

How long are your lights on? Is it near a window?

That there is blue/green algae and no bristlenose or algae eater will go for it. It is actually called cyanobacteria, not a true algae. Very hard to get rid of. I tried everything from blackouts to aeration. Finally I gave the tank a really good cleaning and then treated it with erythromicin, the antibiotic. I hated going to that extreme, but it did work and I've never seen it again in that tank. Here is the site that gave directions that I used. Good luck.
