Major Bummer!

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
I'd give you my heaters if you were closer. Air temp at the moment here is 43 degrees C (109 in your language). Water temp in my 8 footer is 33 degrees (91 Fahrenheit). Been like this for 4 days now. Me and the fish are sick of it.
Thanks but I'm good with heaters it's just this one filter that I need to address.

Not in the summer ?

How warm is the basement in the summer ? We have central air/heating. Im wondering if i could do away with the heaters. I dont like them

Oh no,not in the summer. My house is old and with radiators so it gets extremely hot on the main and upper floors. My basement on the other hand is my escape from the heat as it rarely hits 80 down there in the summer.
I don't know about that central air but you would probably have it set too low for your fish in the summer ?

So I went to unplug one of my filters in order to do a water change the cord came away from the plug! I have never had or heard of such a thing happening before.Does anyone know how I might be able to repair it or should I just purchase a new filter? The filter is a HOT Magnum by the way.

It's a long lasting filter to out last the plug ;)
Yep go to hardware store buy a $3 plug and be back in business.
