Make Firefox perform Faster

i have one those cool mice mine works fine with firefox yours just might be stubborn
anyways i was just messing with you before lol

i've always used internet explorer if i download firefox and i dont like it how do i restore explorer and does it tranfers the setting for my email and saved links or do i need to transfer the info thx for any advice i hate explorer but i'm afraid of losing my data.

went ahead and downloaded fire fox was to curious to wait very clean but i tryed your suggestion when i type in "about;confiq" it takes me to the about.com home page i'm not great with programs am i typing it in the wrong place
 
is it like a IE ?

its a web browser... i never use them as i have AOL.

Firefox is an "open source" browser developed by mozilla. It is lighter than IE ,way customizable ( included search engine tabbed has amazon.com, dictionary, wikipedia, google, yahoo,etc ) and it supports several opened browser all in one window.

Its very cool.. i suggest you guys try it. It will even "get" your IE bookmarks .

Did the tweak made your surfing faster? I felt the pages load faster with it.

i actually have 4 browsers including firefox installed, nothing IME works as well as netscape, firefox is very safe and fast but doesn't allow everything - too much it doesn't do, netscape does nearly everything and has java, flash, and everything you need included so you don't have to do any downloading nonsense - even has aim (though i don't use the netscape version), rarely i would have to use IE because some sites need it, of course i only use netscape 7.2 because newer ones look disgusting, netscape takes a lot more resources but if you have a good computer that's not an issue

and oh yeah, firefox never works with my mouse forward and back buttons, i'm a big fan of one handed surfing :D

Try getting the latest Firefox ... the last versions were true to what you described.. latest versions are way better. Plus you can always download the plugins.
