Make someone's day feed the homeless

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
There is a homeless man near i75 in GA who stands on the corner with a sign.one of my family members offered him a job doing construction and he said no thank you cause he makes 500 to 700 a week tax free just standing on the corner.i offered one food and he turned it down to ask for money saying he just needed beer.

I think its sad when someone like that gives real people in need a bad name and can turn people away from helping cause they think it might be a scam.

There was a study done, in '05 I believe, about the homeless in Sacramento, CA. It seems according to the study that beggars there made an average income of $70,000/year. Panhandling in bigger cities is no joke.

I used to live in a apartment complex and the owner had a homeless man work for him for free in exchange for letting him stay in the work shed, his name was Mark. He lived there for ever.. he had a huge beard and no shoes. The funniest memory is he was in the attic and fell through the complex into and onto my grandmas kitchen table. Some guy visited the apartment and gave him a job. anyways seen him like 8 years ago at the store had a wife, a kid, a truck and was all shaved up and had nice clothes on! He hugged me, I knew it was him even when he was different looking! I cried seeing a man I knew since I was just a little kid and I used to bring plates of food to him and now he has a nice life! He was homeless for about 16 years. I'm really glad someone have him a chance.

I always buy them saltines and a case of water. Its less than $5 and that way you know they can't waste it. I have had tons of them complain about what I bought them so I keep it and find someone that will appreciate it. Most of them say I would have rather had the money. To which I reply I would have father not had to deal with you...
