I need some ideas on how to humanely get rid of a tank full of fish. They came with the tank but I have no real interest in having a community tank. I wonder if fish stores might do a trade or something. Anyone have any dealings with something like this?

See if you can sell them or give them away to someone who wants them. What fish are they?

ur lfs will exchange them,if ur ready for an unfair deal
or better find some friends with interest in those fishes...
what are those fishes?

lfs first...

or just use them as feeders

ok i use feeder fish too for my SH's so im not gonna jump at you:D

but the guy said humane method;)

if you cant get any money or trade in value then put them as free to good home. free has got to be better than death either way you dont get anything for them.

the LFS may not even offer credit (depends on what kind of fish), but they'll take them (assuming they have room).

Yeah, try to see if a lfs or even a chain store may take them. Don't expect credit or some pay since the store has no idea on your motives or the fishes health.

I just gave away a bunch of feeder guppies to a local chain store called zamzows but they didn't pay me nor did I expect them to.
