so how are those discus fry??? :grinyes:
 
The parents keep spawning and eating the fry and I don't know what to do. For now I just hope they'll learn by themselves.
 
both parent's???? do you leave the light on ( I understand this may interupt your normal cycle )??? some time's this help's, darkness can trigger the predatory instinct in fish but how predatory are discus though! if it is just the male divide the tank ?? that is weird if both are eating the fry but anything is possible and not all fish were createed equal!.. :thumbsup:
 
ROSS, I have 13 tanks with over 40 species, and I am not sure how many fish. One of my 10" cats died and fncked up the water in one of the tanks three weeks before my scheduled water change. The 4" tilapia I bought for $2 in a supermarket that was sold for soup is beating the crap out of a big oscar. And all my fish go crazy, fight and eat 5 time more than usual!

I already have 11 discus. It'd be cool to have little ones but it's just a hobby. I'm a bit tired to deal with that lately. I'll remove the papa next time if I am faster than he.
 
why phuck it then ,use them as feeder's save some money put it else were in your set up... :D some will cringe but they don't already have 11 discus either ..
