The pond will be in a tropical gecko and tree frogs tanks. The filter will help keep the water clean thats why i like it. And how deep should i make the water so the filter will get water still. It cant be rlly deep tho. And i was thnking mayb some small engh pvc pipe to have it run under neath the pond and then have it suk the water.

if you go with a filter like my idea, you only need to fill it up past the intake on the bottom of the filter.

I got a new idea. Could i take some kind of pipe that wld connect to the end of the filter and have it extend and run along the bottom of the pond/water area to get more water in at a time.

Yes i knw they do but i vld extend it and have it run all over the pool so it takes more water in at once. Also where do ppl get a peice of glass to split the tank from land to water. Like i will probly need one 5" tall and iknw how long tho.

I don't know if this is helpfull, but here's my waterfall in my garden.
The smaller waterfall uses a 2000L pump and the larger one has a 4000L pump.

I guess you could make a smaller version of this...

i think imma try to make a small version

Better start collecting some stones!
I was lucky that one of my mates works in construction and he finds most of those bigguns.
Best thing is that it's low maintenance. I used rootcloth(??) to keep any weeds from coming up between the rocks. I started with a huge pile of earth and dug a duct how i wanted to have the waterflow.
Filled the duct with pondliner and started packing the rocks.
This spring I have to redo a big part of the waterfall, for the fence is starting to bow into my neighbours garden...
Good luck with yours.

the filter i showed you doesn't have an intake tube, it's intake is at the bottom of the filter so its all internal. Are you trying to make a waterfall or filter the whole tank?
