Buy it from craigslist. Don't build a tiny tank with horrible dimensions. It's a waste of time and money. You can find a 90 gallon tank with a stand for like 100 bucks on craigslist.
That's were I was going as well. It is cheaper and easyier to buy a glass tank up to 240g. Do your research first there are a lot of good builders on this site under DIY tanks. If your stand is only 12" in width and you dont plan on putting much stock just get a 55g 4'L x 1'W
