right but not killing a tree. I am also not a tree hugger but it seems kinda like a waste to me to kill a tree to get a stump for your fishtank :screwy:

hahaha yeah for real the first image that came to me was seeing some huge tree get chopped down then the end result being a homemade tree stump about a foot big or so and then a follow up question of who needs free fire wood?

yeah i guess..im not talkin about like cuttin down an evergreen or pine..just something mad smalll like a neighbors tree that i dont like

The point is it's extra work because you have to make one cut above where you want the top of the stump and one lower cutting the stump off somewhere and then you have most of what's left of a tree laying there.

I don't think anyone thought you were cutting down a pine tree.

... It shouldn't be a priority if you have to resort to cutting down a tree. Eventually, you will find something that make you go "Hey! I can use that for my tank!"

yeah i wonder how much that styrofoam is like in tthat guys turtle tank
