Making Aquaclear 300s Quieter

Ya I have had an ac50 and it is a lot quieter but I basically got these for free and I am planning on getting an fx5 at the end of the month so theres no point of buying one. I know Fx5's are supposed to be pretty quiet but I was wondering if anyone can compare the noise of the fx5 to the xp3?

If so, just try servicing them...Clean the impellers good and the cylinder they sit in..

If you are still having too much noise, olive oil is the most natural lubricant you will find.
