Making mistakes

Well, mistake happen all the time! In fact, I just made a mistake (or under estimate) my Tess. Moray power. I introduced a big Majestic Angelfish to my moray tank, I thought it too big for my Moray to eat and before I release the angel into my tank I fed my moray 4 medium size Octopus (6 inches size) to avoid its looking the new tank mate as food. This monster Moray gulfed down the expensive meal less than 30 seconds!
*Note:
Usually moray won't able to catch fast swimming healthy fish but my moray do it with flashy speed attack and got the angel. O.O I'm speechless!
I lost four cichla orinoco six seconds after putting them in my tank, because I overestimated their size. I had been looking for those cichlas for six months. The compatibility was perfect, my eagerness was not.

Mistakes do happen, we can only try our best to make as few as possible.

Karma is a serious concern, I would imagine if one keeps an oscar in a 29 gal, one should expect to be one in the same situation in the next life.
Looks like I'm set. I used to keep my Guppies in my 210.

I simply said screw it when i bought a second knife for my 70 gal, most sources say they will not tolerate each other unless at least 75 gals per fish is provided. The resident knife was aggressive initially but cooled off quickly and they rarely show any aggression.

I agree with the fact that many dont care about opinions of people that HAVE been there and HAVE done that. I have only lost fish to birds and jumping as well as one to a pump so i consider myself lucky in that sense. I may speak alot of fish that i do not own or have not but i only regurgitate info from people that have or from what i have read. Nothing about fish is concrete but there are guidelines on stocking and not every fish is friendly.

Listen to the big uns

When I answer questions especially in the diseases section, I speak from experience and I try to avoid answering questions were the only answer I know is from reading something on the internet.
