making money selling fish

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Exactly, and shrimp dont need much space, a 20G tank could be filled with hundreds of shrimp if you give them what they need...

Not to mention, with even some of the cheaper designer shrimps going for around $5 That could be an easy few couple bucks every month...

Not to burst you're bubble there beast fish but I guarantee you don't make a hundred percent of that profit and by that I mean your parents don't because you have to factor the cost of feed the original price of the calfs or maybe you breed them yourself im not sure but I know it's a lot of Money to feed them and care for them not trying to be a dick or anything just sayin tho

Why would you only feed your fish once a week just to save a little money? And if the fry dont grow, he wont have anything to sell.

I don't do it to save money. It was an experiment. To see if i could inhibit growth without damaging the animal. A biology experiment for my class. I presented it last week, think I did fairly well.

Alright, well my $.02 is you should go totally exotic. Find fish that are typically sold as wild caught because they aren't mega-mart fish. I REALLY doubt you are ever going to make a penny trying to raise fish at home that are in direct competition with huge distributers. I would instantly rule out anything you can find any day at the petcosmarts of the world.

If you find things that people look for and can't find but can make a site that offers these exotic fish from UNUSUAL places then you are ready to ship some fish.

How about a rescue website for fish, and a retail outlet exclusively for breeding fish?

May sound silly but the best way to get rich quick is to write a get rich quick book. It may be a joke, but it's still true. Lots of people want exotic Asian and African mating pairs.. maybe you could be the matchmaker?
