Hey guys. I have decided on making my own plywood tank instead of just buying a tank. One, its cheaper, and two, I can make it as bigger. Here's whats up. I have a totaled 125 gallon that only has 3 sides ( it broke) so I would scavenge that tank for the glass, and then fill it in with plywood. However this tank is going to be six-sided. Its horizontal length will be: 1 side will be 8 ft (plywood), the other 6 ft (glass). Then I will put the 2 side pieces diagonally connected to the glass, attached to another piece of plywood that is attached to the back. I havent figured out how many gallons it would be yet. How does this idea sound? And plus this will be my first tank I've ever made, so any pointers for a noob? Thanks!

This sounds challenging would there be a frame around all four sides of the glass or just top and bottom?

Yes there would be a frame around all four sides of the glass. And yea I have a lot to read!

Okay so heres what I have so far:
It will be 683 gallons
