my system is connect the tubing to the bathtube or window let it drain then use a pump to pump water from a bucket in the bathtube.

if fish keeping is keeping you from TV. why do you have a tank?

:iagree: my tv is hardly ever on anymore. i watch my tanks while i surf mfk and local classifieds or DIY sites. thats how i spend my free time.

used to watch tv and play world of warcraft lol.... i think i upgraded my pass time lol

anyway. when i do my water chances i still use 5 gal buckets at a time. takes time, kind of tedious. but i like the husbandry of fish keeping.

I put an overflow on my sump that goes to a floor drain. To do water changes I don't remove water, I just add water, and the excess water leaves through the overflow.
You are about $15 from having a drip system. Set it up once and you will wonder why you didn't do it sooner.
