Camallanus worms are parasites that do not wish to kill their host (because then they would die too.) Guppies can live for years without dying from infection of these nasties, if they have clean water and otherwise stress-free conditions.

Medicate for Camallanus, you'll be glad you did.

Considering that the worms protrude from the anus and he has had them for three years, he probably would have noticed by now.

it would proly be hard to miss a worm coming out ur fish's arse lol if i were u, id keep the spawning parents in a 20 gallon and use the 55 only as a grow out. much more efficient, easier to clean, and u can leave it bare bottom and what not. im planning to feed my guppies microworms cuz apperantly theyre as good a bbs but with alot less work. pluss id feed crushed hikari pellets like massivore or preditor sticks, throw some in the food processor and u got urself a batch of guppy roids ready to go ive been doing the crushed pellets for a while and it works amazingly

srry been at school for a few no time to visit mfk

but yes it is nice having 2 55 gallon tanks of nothing but guppies

no i dont think they have worms and i fed some to my arows and oscars for a treat and so far so good but the arows have become strange and will only ear freezdried river shrimp and refuse live food hahaha
