That driftwood is wild looking. I want to give sand a go but hear it will kill my HOBs. -- N

I have pool filter sand in all my tanks with hob on all with no issues. If you have a concern then just put a pre-filter on the intake.

Its pool filter sand. Cheap, heavy, and looks great
