It says that a common wolf fish can reach to a foot in just 6 month, but my wolf remains 8" in 4 months, how long will it take to get him to 12 inches, i feed him once every 2 days. Sometimes once a day.

Just feed him a varied diet and try and keep the clean and the wolf will grow. What size tank do you have him in? What are you feeding him? How often and how large are the water changes?

Change two full buckets of water, feed once a day.

the small tank is probably keeping him from growing faster.
one bucket of water is like what....5g?
BIGGER water changes.
also,vary the diet.
plus wolves have varying growth rates.
some as slow 0.5" per month.
as long as hes healthy he'll grow.

Mine has grown fairly slow. 4" to 10"+ in about a year. Tank is big enough, WC 50% a week and varied diet.. some just grow slower.

Well perhaps that person is talking big. Normally eg for myself 1 year to 12" should be normal. But also depend on the fish eg how greedy it is. Tank size too. Keep changing water so it got fresh water to stay in. Everything I change the water, after it has settle down due to changing of water, it will start to be very active.

ah really? then i gotta change more water. i used to change 100% water weekly to get rid off all wastes and stinky smells, then add stress coat n zyme, but i was told this bad for bacteria build up. and i reallie hate tiny white worms and white bugs, everytime i see these white worms i start to tremble. i guess these are beneficial bacteria.

They are not beneficial bacteria, thread worm is cos by overfeeding or leftover food or asight of filtration not strong enough. What your filtration bro?To me in the wild fish keep having fresh water and a big space to swim. So get bigger faster plus all kind of meat they get...
