Malabaricus growing rate

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
I would start looking into getting a bigger tank for the fish. I would do at least a 90 gallon. At LEAST. Pick up a nice ac110 hob and then a canister filter of your liking. Just remember though, these fish are pigs so choose your filtration accordingly.

They are not beneficial bacteria, thread worm is cos by overfeeding or leftover food or asight of filtration not strong enough. What your filtration bro?To me in the wild fish keep having fresh water and a big space to swim. So get bigger faster plus all kind of meat they get...
fluval internal filter 3 plus, it is very strong, but things float out when i remove filter from the tank.

I would if i had space, when it reaches to 12 inches i might be able to move into a new apartment. Right now 90 g still big for an 8 inch statue.

So your going to get a new apartment when he reaches 12"? Get him a 40G breeder before the apartment.. it's much much better then a 29g.

42G 42x20x14 is that custom built or it can be bought from aqua shop?
If there 42x20xmuch higher? i dun wanna hear bumping sounds. I might change during summer break.

I've had my chap a year now and he has gone from about 7" to 14" in his 75g. I am currently looking to upgrade him to a 120g as he is very active and I'd love for him to reach his full potential.

They certainly seem more active with more space. And people to try and kill.

My Wolf fry was hatced January 11.I have some that are 2" long and some that are 5.5" long. The bigger ones are eating up to 6 crappie minnows in one feeding. They also love nightcrawlers, raw frog leg meat, and talapia. The growth rate as far as I can tell is based on there diet. The smaller ones are not fed as often and food with less bone.(nightcrawlers)Chris.
