If the cuplrit is internal parasites neither aquarisol or melafix are appropriate. I'd go with food that has Metro in it (like the metro flakes from Florida Guppies Plus) and have some praziquantel on hand

Jungle's anti-parasite food contains metronidazole, praziquantel, levamisole.

Or would just soaking NLS in metronidazole & praziquantel work?

It would be important to qt the fish because you would not want your other fish subjected to different kinds of medications. I did not have any qt tank before and I used a bucket in my desperation to not medicate the other fishes.

I am going to QT the fish, but the general consensus seem to be that I need to treat the whole tank because whatever the infected fish has is probably being passed around to everyone else.

i have, it sucks, it stains your tank, adds cancer causing ingredients and DOESN'T WORK

FYI melafix also states that it contains chemicals known to the state of California to cause cancer.

Quite a few people on other forums are recommending Jungle parasite clear, they swear by it, they also swear that it wont stain my tank.

I think I am going to give the parasite clear a shot, I also picked up some Seachem metronidazole to mix with the NLS food.

I've never had fish accept that food, especially fish that are more sick.

I am actually just going to soak NLS in Seachem metronidazole. The one fish that is not eating is about to be moved to a hospital and treated there.

yea, but it is still a good idea to qt the one fish that seems to have gotten the disease first. QTing the fish will give you a higher rate of success since you wouldn't be messing around with large amount of water. Effects should be noticable. Also, stay away from cheap unknown medication brands, they would cause you more trouble than good (It was a bad mistake on my part, to try a new cheap brand). Stay with the moderately priced but familiar brands since they are restocked on the shelf for a reason.

Jungle contains that same ingredient :hitting:, and it does stain the tank, it even turned some of my white sand bluish green
