Malawi Trout Breeding (champsochromis caeruleus)

I like the trout, but my heart is with the the lichnochromis at the moment, maybe because I've been trying to get my hands on them. I've owned two ramps and loved them. If you know anyone who has some fry let me know! Preds are the best by far. I think for me trying to locate and add all the preds in one tank is my goal!

I have a group of around 50 rhamphochromis essex fry I am growing out for myself. I could part with a couple once they get bigger if you want some. They are the smaller species though of the rhamphos I have though. My longiceps are pushing 8 to ten inches and are the bigger species. Here is a video about 6 months ago of some of my longiceps breeding.

GeraldM,

I see you have red bulus in there. Would you happen to have a male juvenile you would be willing to sell plus shipping?

Whats the smallest size you can sex a Malawi trout ?

I would like to get a male and raise him in a community.

GeraldM,

Please keep in touch with me on those suckers. The Rhamp is such a neat fish and deserves more love in the community like the trout. I would be interested in a couple as they are hard to get which is funny as they are one of the most common fish in Lake Malawi.

I guess you could vent the trout at a couple inches? When could you tell Gerald?
