Malaysian bogwood water. How Long?

I just bought 2XL Malaysian Woods from eBay and I soaked it with warm water for almost a week. Today I took it out and boil it for 11hrs so far. The water is super dark tea color. I will change the water and boil them again for another 10+ hrs just to make sure to get most of the tannis out.

I have driftwood that is over 10 years old that still leeches tannins. Not tons but it still happens......

Boiling it can help, but it'll always color your water a little IME no matter how long you soak it
