I tried PH 4.5 with help of black water solution,but after about 3 months, no changes on flower development....so now just normal water with some drift wood will do for him...i also has increase the water level in the aquarium....
as for food, im feeding him once a day...
2 small pomfret (bawal kecil) will do for him...and sometimes he gets feeder goldfish .
i do think that we cannot expect much of quality from LFS breed....so im quite happy the way he is rite now..and still waiting to get the wild one....;p

lovely...i used to have 2 really rally big ones...reminds me of my breeding pair...i set them free in a snakehead farm in malaysia 
my mum made me give them away a few years ago wen i was 16 cuz they kept jumping out of the pond..and scaring her lol. very bad tempered and strong!!!
