i reckom the bird flu are infected by flocks. and they don mix around so i guess it wont be infected. these are show birds so i guess the price is okay. sorry!! i meant 100Us a pair
Im seriously jealous! As for an incubator, recently i tested my incubator against a hen. 7 eggs for both. Hen hatched 5, incubator hatched 4. Either way i say it was very even.
nice little birds. i keep poultry myself at my grandmas. i had buff brahmas until i sold them about 2 weeks ago. i would just let the hen sit on them if there is a small amount off eggs. she will probably stop laying after a few, but if you wanted to hatch large quantities go with an incubator. i aslo have silkies. i put them in the pen outside before vacation and my grandmas says only 1 is left outta 6 . havent checked em yet tho.
can chickens comfortably handle very cold weather? id like to pick up a pair of malaysian seramas, but MN is very cold in the winter. I used to raise pigeons and they did fine in the weather.
