I technically didn't get an alert at all for the first one, I was reading another thread and you linked this thread in it so I followed the link, then came across my name.

3rd question, as in, when you got the alert that LED you to the link in the thread you were reading....did you notice there was a tagged/alert version of your name in orange and wonder why you never saw the thread/post/alert/etc.?

Sorry, I'm really bad at this and I'm not sure if I'm just tired and not computing what you're saying or if I'm stupid and not understanding what you're saying.. I'll try to explain how I found this, because I think that's kind of what you're asking...

I was cruising the reptile part of the forum and came across a discussion you was having with someone regarding the breeding of their python, in that thread somewhere you posted a link to this thread to help explain the way genetics work. I followed the link, and read down until I came across the post you had mentioned, then kept reading... A little further down the page I seen my name, so I '"liked" the post, then when you responded, I got two notifications, one saying you had quoted me and another saying you had mentioned me. But I never got the notification about being mentioned two weeks ago. Does that make sense/answer your question?
