The funny thing is that you find it easier to sex an Oscar than a Convict. It is usually the other way around. If you are unsure and don't know who to believe, get a few more Cons from a member or vendor and let them pair off on their own. This should take very little time. Then you will be able to see what sex your Con truly is.
Well it was only I who thought it looked female on this thread lol. Quite a few in the other thread thought it was female though. Just keep it and see what it turns into as its a nice con. If you were in America I would give you a nice big male marbled con for free. I would just assume its a male going by what everyone else is saying.
I do appretiate that (the offer) thats the prob with the UK not alot of option here really. Its just drove me mad. I have a image in my head of what i want my tank to be, a nice rubust male con with a few ditherers. I love the convict, thats why id be so gutted if it was female, iv even looked into getting a pink mate for it, but i dont want to be over-run with cons in 4 weeks time (if that) i may ring the LFS tomorrow, and grow a few out like you suggested, atleast that way we would all have some peace from it haha. Im sure they wont though, its how my luck has run with this setup, i could buy the parents if they are still there, but again, babies are a issue for me. Hopefully if they have some i have the tools to sex on my own, if they dont, im going to call this one TRAN as it has bits of both!
