Male convict not doing his job

I thought i would update this. the female ate all the white eggs and all the brown eggs were gone but on the bottom of the pot there were these things that looked like really big eggs. when she would come in to the pot they moved a little and she would pick them up and move them but now they don't move but she still inspects them. could they be fry or no?

an remember that convicts are like ppl when it comes to choosing mates. i went threw 2 males before i found a match that my female would take an raise eggs with. you might have a pair that dont like each other or the male wont fertalize the eggs cause he doesnt like the female.

He has been with two females. This last female they were taking turns protecting the pot.
