Wow that's a nice fish+tank. Don't see plants too often with any cichlid that big, let alone a dovii.

These were taken at the Chattanooga aquarium and the same tank had more than one male doviis! Here are a few more:

Actually none of the male doviis was clearly ruling the tank AFAIK from ~45 minutes that I spent there .
There were total 3 male doviis in the tank, and atleast one of them had paired up with more than one female. Two of them (the ones you see trying to lip-lock) had very close terriroties, but no serious fights were there. They only kept showing off when the other came too close.
There were a bunch of jaguars, midas, red devils but these 3 chose to go wherever they pleased. I would say they 'co-ruled' the tank
