How's the female I sent you doing? I lost the larger female to an eye infection so I'm just down to one unknown sex at about 5".

He looks very skinny to me. Have you treated for any internal parasites?

very nice...

Unfortunatly the female was lost after a week or so, she was eating very little, i seperated her and treated for parasites, and did everything in my power for her, nothing helped.

The male aswell has been eating very little since i got him, IME the smaller they are when originally brought into home aquaria, the easier it is to get them to eat. i do plan to do some treatment on him aswell though.

Dude, that sucks. Really sorry. I never had any problems getting her to eat. Maybe just different tank/water conditions? They do seem to be quite a bit more sensitive than most CA/SA cichlids. :(

they are, my best female died in a tank with perfect conditions, and she was one of the best eating cichlids i hve ever owned. no parasites or anything. They aren't the most hardy species IME.
