Male female convict?

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
FYI - your male isn't an albino, and yes, females can have elongated fins, and sometimes even humps.

Pink convict is a common name, albino isn't. Not a big deal either way, just thought I would mention it in case you didn't know the difference between albino, and leucistic.

I've never had a female con, but a lot of HRPs. Not all females had orange or much of it on the belly. They had pointy fins too.

It may not be a big deal here in this thread, but for someone who was going to breed a Leucistic to an Albino and wonders why all the babies hatch as normal that little tidbit of info will come in handy.

Breeding 2 different recessives just produces double-hets, nothing visual. It' s a good point to make considering how confusing genetics can be and the amount of people on MFK that are learning how they work.
