Male/female jaguar

So about a month ago since my last pic and my jag as got bigger, broader and getting a bit of a head on it. It’s about 4 inches maybe more now. Beautiful fish…..do this pics a month on help say if it’s a male or female any better?

You could vent the Jag for confirmation.

Would not know where to start with that really. Never vented a fish before.

Update on Jag. My jaguar cichlid. Now homed in my new 7ft x 2ft x 2ft tank. He is maybe about nearly a year old and nearly about 7-8 inches.

Was originally sexed as a male and wondered those in the no still think he’s a boy.
