Male/Female Oscar

I know Oscars are one of the hard ones to tell and I'm not sure which is which. I have two Oscars and I am pretty sure they are M/F they are just too chummy, hence their names Ebony and Ivory (living together in perfect harmony) Here is a Pic can anyone tell for sure?

No way to tell till they breed and get fry from it as two females will go through the motions sometimes.

You have to vent oscars to tell if male or female.

please dont vent your fish though. its stressful on them and doesnt really accomplish much unless you specifically bought them for breeding and need to know

Vent the fish......Squeeze each of their genitalia untill a tube pops out...Thick(er) tubes are females and thin, sometimes backward angled tubes are male.....
