2m 2f when you determine how horny your males are, you can sell of the one not producing.

2x. Thats what im doing.

BUT 2m1f could end bad. I myselfe have seen in my tank, that 2 males are chasing one 1 female at the same time, fortunatly it went good. But if they were to be very agressive, i would have felt sorry for the female. It can go terrible wrong with 2m1f. She can get terrible bitemarks, get stressed, stop eating etc.. We all know the rollercoast from start til end with stress.

And also. My 2 male Motoros seem to go crazy on every feemale in my tank, even the 7 inchers.. I have a total for 5 females in the tank, and they all have marks exept the biggest one.

^^^in my case, since one male is mature and the other not, could the mature male be more aggressive because of the other immature males presence?

I've got 3m 3f.

But... only 1m 1f are mature.

Would it be okay to separate males and females by their own tank?
Would the males be fighting each other in the same tank if there is no presence of any female?
