I bought mine I think in March and they were all between 3-4.5" and now the biggest males are a little over 7" so I am assuming my fish are a tad bit younger than yours or real close in age. The above photo looks like my little F2 before I put him in with my bigger F0s. In "defence" I meant that I was agreeing with your statements since it seems like everyone has their own opinion on this subject.
there are no color variations for festae. It's that simple. They can change colors like said before by mood, water conditions etc.......
