Male festae

This little guy shows a little hump already...is that normal for male festae? This is my first time raising festae...

Thanks Eric...he finally shows more yellow and stress marks. Flirting with the female in my avatar. Unfortunately, he is still too small for her.

My pair was the same way. My female had about 2-3 inches on the male when i got him. Be patient and keep the faith. They grow slow but it's so worth it once they finally spawn :)

+ 1 I would agree my male grow way quicker then my female but they are slow growers. But like you said soooooo worth it my male is 10 inches and female 7 - 8 inches. Beautiful fish
