They are soooo slow growers though....
Here is a pic of my biggest male that I sadly lost 2 yrs ago; he got his jaw broken in a fight....

I buy loads of pellets and mix them in loads of pots and feed that so they get dozen types to chose from . Thanks for comment your gt was immense

Mine ate so little he shrank. I got fed up and gave him back to the store after about six months. What is your tap water like? Mine has almost no hardness and pH around 7.2.
