Thanks. I was surprised by how aggressive these guys can be. Especially to each other.
 
They are definitely aggressive. Mine has put almost all of my severums in their place with the exception of my big female Atabapo severus. She's pretty much the only fish that still makes him back down.

I definitely think these guys need a large tank. Mine prowls my 210g like it's a goldfish bowl. He's not even done growing yet! :(

my male gold severum takes the grunt of the aggression. its funny because my largest festivus will make the psittacus back down a bit
 
Great pics and lovely fish Dave, he is stunning. I love the way mine seemed to stay really still almost like she was were stalking other fish.. (she was :()

I totally agree. It kills me to see them some cramped right now.

Haha, funny thing, when they were in my 125 they would always back down to my guianacara.

Lol, yeah, that's what he does all day. It's like he's waiting for them to swim through the glass. The first picture is a result of what happens when they get too close..lol.
