I agree they are highly intelligent fish when my male is rearranging the tank he will "study" the rock or plant for a few seconds and then relocate or uproot it.my female is getting more aggressive, I was fixing her hiding spot so when the divider is out the big boy can't get to her, she went straight after my hand she's never done that before.

Lol...Kind of like when there is some domestic abuse going on and the police go to intervene to stop it and then the lady turns on the police... your female jag made a decision on who she trusts more... She knows she's going to eventually mate with your male and not your hand .....try to tell someone outside the hobby what we're observing in our tanks and they look at us like we're crazy.......
