Male Jaguar Cichlid confirmation

Only a year and a half old, about 10 inches and thick with strong blue hue through the fins in the right angle and light.
Argh that sucks, sorry to see hear that...love my Jag, was sold to me as a male and most of the indications have me leaning to a male, really need to do a vent check to be sure.regretfully this is her last day after the male after 2 good spawns wacked her after breaking through the divider.
But in saying that, I have gotten lucky with the personality with raising it with the Oscars and JD...as for me....want's to kill me I tell you lol, will not let me clean the tank without trying to rip my hand apart or even get close enough to vent it, might have to do a in tank net check...but it will go mental and don't want to stress it out to much.
Well here we go, got the pic I finally needed for confirmation of sex... first I vented couple of days ago and it had 2 holes one big one small, and if i'm correct that's a male fertilizer tube that's now on display for the next month or so...also it just ramped up in aggression big time.
Yup male. My male has that same barb. It’s the make genital papilla. Looks like two tiny fins. I have pics of this barb on my post. Confirms 100% male. Female egg tubes fluctuate in size. The male genital papilla always looks the same. Gorgeous fish
Thanks mate, yeah he really is stunning with such an awesome personality.......doesn't mind his tank mates but just wants to kill me...unless it's feeding time, then I'm his best mate all of a sudden lmao.
