It could just be the lighting on the vent shot. I've never had a female JD have that many male attributes.
- no beard
- Pointed fins
- Brighter colors, Spangles galore.

Most likely male.

ok well there is a little beard but it hard to see in the pic.. The guy i got him from told me he is a year old... he got him when the Jd was 4"..
