Well the first one u posted actually worth around that price in the SoCal or even more. White kamfa is rare just like Golden Monkey. Nevertheless whoever "sorry didn't realize whats ur name sir" posted the red dragon flowerhorn. $30 uk sounds reasonable because its the most common type in flowerhorn family trree. I hope this will help however, if you can debate the price down to $200 uk. Good luck

White Kamfa like that isn't that rare at all(I've seen full texas white worm pearls from head to tail that only runs at $350 top), King Bacara is a lot rarer. Golden Monkey still exist, they are basically Kamalau. KGM and SML(last generation that contains a strong line of KGM) doesn't exist anymore in the GM family. If you like the fish, just buy it and don't hesitate with it before it is gone. ;)

Gold monkey head shape is totally different. White kamfa have white eye bro. Sorry but, whoever gave you ur info its totally wrong. Hope you have a good one. Night

GM is Kamalau, and then it branches down into a whole specific family tree of GM. White Kamfa doesn't mean they have white eyes, there are tons of white eyes that doesn't even have any white aka diamond pearling to them(they call it white Kamfa because of the pearls, not because of the eye). Same goes as Kamfa branching down into all these family tree with King Bacara being one of the original Kamfa with the armor pearls(which King Bacara doesn't exist - or may exist but very rare, but nowhere near KGM(King of Golden Monkey) and SML(Son Malau) which falls under the GM family).
Never mentioned anything about GM being a Kamfa, so I don't know where you did you catch me on here by saying GM and Kamfa has a different head(which I agree 100% - but never did I mentioned anything about their head differences).
Overall, white Kamfa aka diamond pearl aren't that rare. Rarer than GM? Possibly, only because GM is basically Kamalau and you don't see diamond pearl Kamfa as often but they are out there(diamond pearling came from red texas and its white aka diamond pearls). It has nothing to do with its eye being white at all. If all these information I said here is wrong, then all the experts on flowerhorncraze and the local FH hobbyist for over 10 years that lived through all the legendary flowerhorn and even when a KK first came out is wrong also. Have good one and good night to you too. :D

Going back to the OP's original question. Yes, they both look Kamfa to me. The first is defo a male. 2nd has a small chance of turning out to be female maybe, although prob still a male. I like the first fish better.
As Big_One says, if you like the fish, buy it ! If the fish is worth £250 to you, and it is to your liking, then snap it up before someone else does.

No, you're not wrong. On their ads they claim to have UK trans-shippers. But when you actually contact the trans-shippers they are not interested in trans-shipping flowerhorns. SO i'ts all a bit of BS really on the part of some of the sellers in SE Asia.

Well that sucks...

son malau? never heard of this strain think an one can locate a pic or some info :D
